It was decided that 2012 would be the year of sweaters and socks. For whatever reason I had been terrified of them in the past, but I have conquered my fears and am thrilled with how far my knitting has come since throwing caution to the wind. I am currently fine tuning things, but have made a number of pairs of socks, and am on my 4th and 5th sweater.
My current project is the Maxfield cardigan. It is a beautiful, and slightly funky sweater with chevron stripes, and although I was intimidated by the pattern, the almost finished product is amazing! i can't wait for the sun to hibernate so I can live in it.
